Family photos are about more than everyone looking at the camera. They're about the laughs, the little moments, and the connections that make your family yours. My goal is to create a relaxed experience while capturing beautiful, natural photographs you'll be able to look back on for years to come.
Family sessions don't have to feel stiff or stressful. I'll give you direction when you need it, but I also leave plenty of room for the moments that happen naturally—the laughs, hugs, movement, and little personalities that make your family unique. The goal is simple: beautiful photographs that feel like your family, not a performance for the camera.
From choosing the perfect location to figuring out what everyone should wear, I’ll help you plan the details before your session ever begins. Whether we’re photographing your family beneath the live oaks in Savannah, along the beaches of Tybee Island or Hilton Head, or somewhere meaningful to your family, we’ll choose a setting that fits you.
I’ll also help with timing, outfit ideas, and what to expect so you’re not left trying to figure everything out on your own. When session day arrives, your only job is to enjoy the time with your family—I’ll take care of the rest.
I believe the best family photographs are a mix of the moments you expect and the ones you never could have planned. We'll absolutely capture those beautiful photos of everyone together, but some of my favorite images happen in between—the laughs, hugs, movement, and little interactions that show who your family really is.
I'll give you direction when you need it, but I don't want your session to feel like an hour of standing still and smiling at the camera. My approach is relaxed and natural, giving your family room to be yourselves while I capture the connection and personality that make these photographs yours.
I found Raymond on Facebook Marketplace. He was super accommodating—we scheduled with short notice. He drove from Savannah to Hilton Head and picked the perfect location on the beach. We have a family of 15, he was friendly, organized, creative, efficient, and very reasonably priced! Within 30 minutes our session was complete and he provided us with a beautiful set of family pictures that we treasure. His pictures really tell a story and we are so thankful to have the memories we can display in our home. I would highly recommend him!
We just had our first family photos taken by Ray and they are beautiful!! We wanted to make sure to get a few of our daughter on her own since she's about to turn one and COVID kept us inside for almost the last year. We are just so impressed with the shots that Ray took, really capturing our little doll. He was so professional, worked quickly (important with a baby!), and is just really nice and easygoing. SECURE YOUR DATE
Once you're ready to book, a signed contract and $50 deposit will officially reserve your session date. Once those are completed, your date is yours!
PLAN & ENJOY YOUR SESSION
We’ll choose the perfect location and time for your session, and I’ll help you prepare with tips on what to wear and what to expect. When session day arrives, I’ll guide you when needed while giving your family plenty of space to laugh, move, play, and simply be yourselves. The goal is for everything to feel relaxed, natural, and fun.
RELIVE THE MEMORIES
After your session, I’ll carefully select and professionally edit your images in my bright, natural style. Your finished photographs will be delivered in a private online gallery where you can easily view, download, share, and enjoy your family’s memories for years to come.
