You don't want repetitious wedding images that make your wedding day look like everyone else's. I pride myself on getting to know you so that I can encapsulate your most authentic self. Every couple is different - every love story is unique.
Comfort in front of the camera
I know that taking photos can be uncomfortable! I hear from my clients all of the time "I'm not used to this" and guess what, that's okay! Before your big day we will have a complimentary engagement shoot. This day is important, as it will let us meet. I will get to know you as a couple, we can talk about poses and try them out, and most importantly, have fun! I want you to enjoy yourselves and let go so that on your big day, you both know the man behind the camera and feel more confident in front of a camera.

Your friends bursting into laughter, a messy candlelit table, your uncle patting his belly, and the tear falling when you lock eyes at the aisle. I want you to remember not just the beauty or whimsy of your day but how you felt. Your day will go by in the blink of an eye but your photos will be sure to take you back over and over.
You put a lot into your big day. Whether it is a large wedding, a small intimate wedding or an elopement, you had to plan so many details to make it all happen and I am here for it. On your special day, I'm not going to miss those one-of-a-kind invitations you painstakingly picked, the matching accessories, the ice sculpture, or the dolphin putting on a show in the background. I am also going to let you know that you left a hair tie on your wrist or sunglasses on your head because the details are the things that can make or break your photos.

THE PROCESS

Let's chat! Email me and let me know a little bit about your upcoming event. If you already have a date planned, I can verify if this date is open for booking. I'd also love to know what type of event you are having and any specifics that you already have in mind! We will plan a call in order for me to go over my process and any questions that you may have.

Once your date is secured, it's time for the fun stuff! I will provide you with a form to complete. If you are using a wedding planner, they may be helpful in this process. This form is going to go through the details of your big day, and all of the important things, like who is in your wedding, who do you not want in a photo, which detail shots you want, and so much more. It will take time and really make you think; but, it will help us ensure that every part of your day is captured how YOU want it. I am happy to serve as a resource for timeline guidance, vendor recommendations, and more; I know this can be overwhelming and brand-new territory for many of my clients. I want you to keep calm and get to your big day.

We will finally meet in person and take some amazing photos that you can share with friends and family. You may not feel comfortable when you arrive, but I promise by the end of our shoot you will be much more comfortable with taking photos and we will have had a few laughs. If you have your own Pinterest of poses stored up, this is your moment to try them out, and if not, I've got you covered. I will help with planning from start to finish, and by the end, you'll have a clear understanding of how simple and fun it is to get your photos taken by me.
About a month before your big day we will chat once again to go over the specifics of your day. I will have reviewed your forms and plan and clarify anything that may be unclear.
The night-before festivities are just as meaningful as the wedding day yet rarely as documented. The speeches, the dancing, the feelings of many lasts, and the excitement of many firsts are so special to have captured.
Your greatest memories are preserved with an approach that blends timeless, fresh, and fun. From getting ready to the final dance, I am not going to miss a beat.

I will review thousands of photos from your special day and edit the best of your beautiful day. You will have access to your gallery for 1 month in which you can download all of your high-quality photos. After that, it's on to album design where we create your timeless keepsake together!
